Student arrested for shooting threat - NBC40.net

Police in Linwood have arrested a 15 year-old girl for creating a false public alarm.

Police say that there was a rumor circulating around Mainland Regional High School that there would be a shooting there on Friday.  Police tracked the rumor to a text message sent from the girl to a friend. 

The girl was arrested and released to the juvenile diversion program pending a court date.
