Large college donation formalized - NBC40.net

A five million dollar donation to a local college was formalized Monday.

The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey received its highest single donation from Michael Azeez, the founder of the Sam Azeez Museum of Woodbine Heritage.  In a signing ceremony Monday, Azeez turned over ownership of the museum, it's buildings and grounds and a new state of the art building for classrooms.

Back in October of 2011, Azeez gave the gift of five million dollars and the museum. The museum is a teaching center focusing on the history of the Russian Jewish immigration to the area in the late 19th century.
