A.C. Police Investigate Boston Chicken Shooting

Atlantic City police are investigating a shooting at a local fast food restaurant.

Police say the shooting occurred just after one Sunday morning at the Boston Chicken on Baltic Avenue.

Officials say 21 year old Nigel Garland had gunshot wounds to his lower legs and was taken to Atlanticare.

Spent shell casings were found at the scene.

Witnesses indicate the suspect ran towards Tennessee and Arctic Avenues.

Police say the suspected is described as a short, young, light skinned black or Hispanic man driving a dark colored vehicle.

As a result of this investigation, police recovered two handguns and marijuana from an apartment on the1300 block of Baltic Avenue.

No arrests have been made in this incident.
