A meeting was held in Egg Harbor Township Tuesday night about proposed improvements at interchanges 36, 37 and 38 on the Garden State Parkway.
The New Jersey Turnpike Authority hosted the meeting, informing the public about the proposed plans, which are intended to improve traffic flow, and lower the number of accidents in these areas.
Township officials are happy with what was presented, but also said they feel more can be done.
"So this is a definite improvement but like I said, we're pushing for more," said Egg Harbor Township Committeeman John Carman.
Carman added that the Township hopes to work with the Turnpike Authority and the County to make the improvements that they feel are necessary in the area.
