Jewish youth stuff stockings for Sandy victims - NBC40.net

NORTHFIELD -- Sunday is the second night of Hanukkah, and at Congregation Beth Israel, some young people are gathering to make their neighbor's Christmas wishes come true.

Members of the Mitzvah Corps got together Sunday to decorate Christmas stockings.

Once the stockings are decorated, kids stuff them full of supplies for victims of Hurricane Sandy.
 
"So many of them are living with very little, with nothing. We thought this would be a nice thing to donate to them and everybody, our kids get to do something good and they get to receive something," said Susan Weis, youth director at Beth Israel.
