NORTH WILDWOOD -
Friday marks the 71st anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor that lead the United States to World War Two.
A ceremony in North Wildwood marked "the date which will live in infamy" as President Franklin Roosevelt declared December 7th, 1941 after the attacks in Hawaii by the Japanese. Members of the local VFW held a Pearl Harbor commemoration ceremony Friday afternoon and remembered those whose lives were lost by tossing a memorial wreath into the water.
