Police investigating Bridgeton shooting - NBC40.net
Police in Bridgeton are investigating the shooting of a man in an attempted robbery at a local apartment complex.
The shooting took place at the Bridgeton Villas on Cottage Avenue just before 7 p.m. Monday night. That's when police say 26-year-old Willie Wise Jr. of Philadelphia was shot once in the leg.
Police believe the shooting was the result of the planned robbery of Wise. Wise was taken to Cooper University Hospital for a non life threatening wound.
Anyone with any information about the shooting is urged to call Bridgeton Police.
