WILDWOOD - A group of those displaced by Sandy is happy to
call the esplanade suites home.
The Esplanade Suites
in Wildwood has been thrust into an unusual role since Sandy, as they have
taken those displaced, and in coordination with the Federal Emergency
Management Agency have been giving them temporary housing.
We spoke with Esplanade
employees who say over 35 people are staying there in two week increments
allotted by FEMA.
And so far, they have
been re-extending those times.
We spoke with those
who for now call the Esplanade home, and they said they are happy to do so.
They said that a real bond has formed among those
staying here, and that even though their homes may be destroyed, they're
thankful to have a place to stay in and decorate for the holidays.
