ATLANTIC CITY - T-Mobile USA presented the Community Food Bank of New Jersey with a $10,000 donation Friday.
The donation was given to support those affected by Hurricane Sandy, and was used to purchase food, around 500 boxes of it, that was distributed to Atlantic City residents.
In addition, T-Mobile has donated $,2000 for children's coats to be delivered to Atlantic City Public Schools, and $2,000 worth of cleaning supplies.
Atlantic city mayor Lorenzo Langford was also on hand and proclaimed this day T-Mobile Day.
The Community Food Bank says that with the holidays upon us, along with the continuing challenges from sandy, they need donations like this one from T-Mobile now more than ever.
