Atlantic City unveils winter themed light show

Posted: Updated:

Atlantic City's 3D Boardwalk light show is getting a holiday themed make–over.

The Atlantic City Alliance says more than 200,000 people saw, stopped, and watched "Duality," a 3D light show that premiered on the façade of Boardwalk Hall in July.  Now, "Moment Factory," the creators of the show, have revamped the 3D spectacular for the holiday season.

The winter themed show is called "Winter Sweet".

Members of the ACA say the one of a kind show is designed to attract tourists to the city.

"Winter Sweet is designed to bring people back the boardwalk, it is a spectacle, it is a sound and light show that happens in 7 minutes, and it was created just for Atlantic City, it's an Atlantic City spectacle on the boardwalk," said Jeff Guaracino, Chief Strategic Officer at the Atlantic City Alliance.

Thursday night's show was just a preview as Winter Sweet will debut Saturday at Boardwalk Hall at 6 p.m.  There will be a winter themed celebration featuring holiday themed music, and recording artist Clay Aiken beginning at 5 p.m.
