Atlantic City wants the word out... The Atlantic City Boardwalk is still here and intact.
The Atlantic City Alliance has taken out a full page ad in the New York Times which will run Wednesday, assuring visitors that the famous boardwalk was not destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.
"What we want people to know is that the boardwalk that they know, that they love, here in Atlantic City is alive, its well, its intact and ready and open for business," said Jeff Guaracino, chief strategy officer of the Atlantic City Alliance.
The ACA says the resort town continues to see a lag in visitation and revenue due to the historic weather event.
