Expect a chilly, raw day with periods of rain and maybe even a few wet snow flakes mixing in this evening away from the shore. A coating is possible in northwestern Atlantic and Cumberland counties but most of the snow will stay closer to the I-95 corridor where a few inches are likely. Weak low pressure will ride to our south at a very fast pace. That will prevent any major accumulations in terms of both rain and snow. The bottom line…today will be a rainy & chilly day with highs in the 40's. Use extra caution on the roads tonight as some icy spots may form with temperatures dropping below that freezing mark. We should dry off and clear out after midnight as high pressure heads our way. Tomorrow the sunshine makes a return but it will stay breezy and chilly. A slow and steady warm-up occurs through the rest of the week as highs climb into the 50's by the weekend and close to 60 degrees by early next week.
