Medford woman dies in accident on Sea Isle City's promenade - NBC40.net
SEA ISLE CITY -- A Medford woman dies after being struck by a public works vehicle.
Police say the 69-year-old woman, whose name has not yet been disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after she was hit around 1 p.m.
Town officials say the truck that hit her was there to clean up debris from Hurricane Sandy. The driver's name has not yet been released.
No charges have been filed and the cause of the accident is still under investigation at this time.
