
State Police have released details from a domestic violence call that ended with gunfire.
Wednesday evening at 5 p.m., state troopers from the Bridgeton Barracks responded to gunfire on Maple Avenue in Deerfield Township. According to State Police, the suspect had an argument with his estranged wife and her companion. Following the argument the suspect got a sawed off shotgun and fired several rounds into the house and a vehicle at the house.
Police say the suspect, identified as 34 year old William Seda Jr. fled the scene in a silver SUV. He was later arrested on the New Jersey Turnpike, where police say he was trying to escape to New York State.
Seda is charged with several counts of aggravated assault as well as burglary and weapons charges.
