Car accident sends woman, four juveniles to hospital - NBC40.net

Five people, including four children, were taken to the hospital after a late night car accident in Atlantic County.

It happened after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday near mile marker 15 on Route 50 in Estell Manor.

Police say Ammie Young, 39, of Egg Harbor City, was driving southbound when her car left the road, striking a utility pole and a tree.

Young and three juvenile passengers were taken to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Division for treatment.

One other juvenile victim was flown from the scene to Cooper Medical Center.

Young's vehicle sustained heavy damage in the crash.

The accident is still under investigation.
