Motorcycle club donates holiday meals to those in need

Posted: Updated:

With the holiday season upon us, a local bike club is during their part to make sure that families who are still suffering from Hurricane Sandy have a nice Thanksgiving.

Members of the "Gentlemen of the Shore Motorcycle Club" made special deliveries Monday to a total of 20 families in Atlantic City and Pleasantville who've been affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Each family was given a turkey and other goods to insure that they would be able to have a  Thanksgiving meal.

"We decided to reach out to families in need, us with our corporate partner the Flagship Hotel Resort.  We used our resources to try to get some relief to some of these families desperately in need right now," said George Crouch, who coordinated the event for the Gentlemen of the Shore Motorcycle Club.

The club made a large donation to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.
