Authorities investigate accident involving Atlantic City Police - NBC40.net

Authorities are investigating an accident involving an Atlantic City Police vehicle and another car.

It happened just after 10 Sunday night, while Officer George King was responding to a call.  His police vehicle was involved in an accident with a Honda Accord at the intersection of Ohio and Pacific Avenues, near the Bally's Casino parking garage.  The Accord then struck and damaged a light pole, which had to be fixed by Atlantic City Electric.

The woman driver of the Accord was taken to AtlatniCare Regional Medical Center for a head injury, her condition is not known at this time.  King was not injured.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation
