
A hot line has been established to assist storm impacted residents according to the Atlantic City Office of Emergency Management.
The number for the hot line is (609) 347-6865. Before calling, residents are asked to have the following information ready for verification purposes: An ID with the address of the residence you are displaced from, a utility bill, a tax bill or lease and an insurance policy number.
Call takers will be on duty from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday according to OEM Coordinator Tom Foley.
Assistance is also available daily from FEMA at the local disaster assistance center in room 201 of the Atlantic City Convention Center. You can also apply for assistance online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or you can call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362)
