On Saturday the 103.7 WMGM's The Morning Edge did not skip a beat as they kicked off their fifth annual Operation Help donation drive.
Radio personalities, Jojo and Scotty, will be accepting food and monetary donations around the clock as they camp out for five straight days in an RV motor home parked outside Chickie's & Pete's in Egg Harbor Twp.
In fact, a large shipment of donations and supplies came from the Boy Scouts of America.
As the holiday season approaches, the Longport Media event is set to be the most important benefit as Hurricane Sandy affected many residents throughout the area.
Over 260 partner agencies have been working with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey to provide relief to victims from Hurricane Sandy.
