OCEAN
CITY - One church group is
rebuilding and cleaning up the town, one house at a time.
Volunteers with the New Covenant Community
Church in Somers Point have been canvassing Ocean City, helping to clear out
and remove debris from homes damaged by sandy.
They've been to over 40 houses so
far and have plans to continue the project all the way until Christmas.
Those who've been serving so far are
encouraging anyone who's able, to volunteer.
We
spoke with the projects group leader who says he's happy to give back to Ocean City,
and says that the removal services they've been donating can eliminate up to a
third of the costs associated with repairing homes damaged by the hurricane.
