Residents Line Up For Salvation Army Help

Posted: Updated:

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy many in our area have turned to the Salvation Army for food and clothing.

Wednesday the Atlantic City Salvation Army opened its doors at it's Texas Avenue location for residents in need as a result of Hurricane Sandy.

People were lined up down the block to receive help in the form of non–perishable food, water, clothing and cleaning supplies.

Today's distribution mostly came from 5 trucks delivered over the weekend from Ohio, Maryland and West Virginia.
