ABSECON -
Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying the man that was killed while walking on Absecon Boulevard in Absecon Monday night.
Police describe the victim as a black man, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing around 180 pounds. He is said to be in his late 40's to early 50's. He was wearing a dark
color winter coat, black pants, brown shoes and a baseball hat. Police say the man was also carrying a
plastic bag with some clothes in the bag. The victim also appeared unshaven.
The man was walking in the eastbound lane of Route 30 near the Knights
Inn Motel just before 7 p.m. Monday night when he was hit by a car. The
man was pronounced dead on the scene. At this time, no charges have
been filed in the accident.
