OCEAN CITY -
Teaching children the importance of buckling up is the focus of the "Belts on Bones" program.
Today the South Jersey Traffic Safety Alliance demonstrated to kids at the Ocean City Primary School the correct way to strap in.
In New Jersey children must be 8 years old or 80 pounds to be out of a booster seat, but officials say even with those guidelines, kids may not be properly buckled in.
Today's presentation also reinforced the fact that students should always wear their seatbelts on the school bus.
