ABSECON -
Police say one person was killed after being hit by a car on the White Horse Pike in Absecon Monday night.
The accident happened just before 7:00 p.m. in the area of Knights Inn. The accident occurred in the eastbound lane, which was shut down while authorities cleared the scene.
Police have not released the victim's identity at this time, and are still investigating the accident.
