A Millville woman is the first Meningitis victim in New Jersey to file a lawsuit against the pharmacy thought to be at the root of the virus.
The lawsuit, filed in New Jersey Superior Court is against the New England Compounding Center which distributed the contaminated steroid injections thought to be at the center of the outbreak.
55 year old Andre Gould of Millville has been treated for Fungal Meningitis and in her lawsuit claims that she was injected with the contaminated steroid one day after the federal government recalled the medicine.
