While Atlantic and Cape May Counties were hit hard by sandy, in some areas of Cumberland county, the situation is just as dire.
Homes and the rest of the community of Fortescue were devastated, with sand covering roads and debris everywhere.
One house here has even been tipped onto its side.
Leading into nearby Money Island, sheds were picked up and taken into streets, forced to be moved by police to make way for power trucks.
Several homes on Money Island were totally destroyed, and debris was scattered.
Temporary concrete blocks that were put in place with hopes of helping were unable to hold back the floodwaters.
As the full gravity of Sandy's destruction is realized on the Delaware Bay, lives have been changed and the cleanup has begun.
