Phaedra began her career here in the newsroom as an intern in the summer of 2003 after majoring in Communications at Rowan University, and quickly learned television news was her passion.
After completing the internship, Phaedra then took over as assignment editor for several months before making her on air debut in the spring of 2004. She started out anchoring morning updates during the Today Show and quickly advanced to a general assignment reporter position.
As one who loves meeting new people and digging out information, Phaedra loves hitting the streets of South Jersey in search of news and answers, and has reported on some of the biggest stories our region has seen in recent years.
When not at work, Phaedra takes advantage of all she can living at the Jersey shore, and loves flounder fishing on her pontoon boat in the back bays and kayaking on the Great Egg Harbor River. In the winter, this snowboarding enthusiast can be found on the mountain, and often visits upstate New York and Vermont for long weekends.
If you see Phaedra out on a story, feel free to stop and say hi, and don't hesitate to send any ideas her way!
