J.T. joined the NBC 40 team in July 2012 as a general assignment reporter and photographer.
A native of the Garden State, J.T. attended high school at The Hun School in Princeton, before studying at Rider University, where he majored in radio and television.
While at Rider, J.T. got a chance to anchor and produce the university's student newscast, as well as work in the on-campus TV studio. He also won 2 awards at the 2012 National Broadcasting Society Competition during his senior year.
J.T. was able to gain newsroom experience early during 3 internships at the FOX News Channel in New York City, where he served as a one-man band reporter covering news that related to young people.
He is extremely excited to get started in the broadcast business in his home state at NBC 40, and loves covering New Jersey news, as well as keeping up to date with national and political stories.
