ATLANTIC CITY—A councilman is speaking out after learning he was implicated for sending a flagrant letter about a former Senator to the media.

Atlantic City Councilman Marty Small says while he was away for the NCAA tournament, someone sent a letter to media outlets making allegations about former Senator Bill Gormley.

Small says the letter was postmarked in Delaware, but he was not in that state.

At this point it's unsure who is responsible for sending the letters, but Small’s lawyer says the authorities will be involved.
