POLICE MAKE ARREST AT NIGHTCLUB; OFFICER'S FINGER BITTEN OFF

ATLANTIC CITY-- A police officer loses a piece of his finger during an arrest.

Officer Dean Dooley was working police security early Sunday morning, at the Casbah Club, located inside Trump Taj Mahal.

According to police, Dooley approached a male patron, identified as Rafael Pichardo, of Brooklyn, New York, after he became disorderly.

Pichardo then bit off the upper portion of officer Dooley's left index finger through a leather glove, while being escorted from the club.

Officer Dooley was treated for his injuries.

Pichardo is charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
