Teresa Berry
Anchor/Reporter
Teresa Berry joined NewsChannel 40 NBC as a general assignment reporter in March, 2005. She describes herself as an Army brat who has trouble figuring out exactly where she is from. Born in Seattle, Washington, Berry calls Fort Hood, Texas home. She comes from a family of broadcasters: "My mother used to work for KYAC-AM in Seattle when we were kids and now, one sister can be heard on the ABC Radio Networks, one brother programs for ClearChannel Communications and another brother can be heard on Radio Disney."
Teresa can currently be heard in Connecticut as she records voice tracks for an adult contemporary station. But television came calling long ago. Teresa's prior TV experience came with the Pax-TV station in Hartford, Connecticut; first as anchor of station's local newscast and later as public affairs director and host; her program airing on Pax stations across the country. "It was cool when people saw me on in Florida and Texas, plus when the prisoners started sending letters from Ohio, that's when I knew I had made it big," she quipped. Teresa came to Atlantic City two years ago, and loved it; deciding that after moving all of her life, the time had come to appreciate what life has to offer. Teresa says her life-long goal is to be happy, "and hopefully it will be here." Teresa likes walking on the beach, and hanging with friends and family. Click here for a printable PDF head shot. |
