SOMERS POINT--- At Shore Memorial Hospital, on Thursday evening, Nancy Keiluhn, a respiratory therapist, held a lecture about sleep disorders in children.
"...Children need a good nights sleep, in order to grow, learn, concentrate in school," said Keiluhn. Sleep disorders in children can lead to attention problems, emotional outbursts, frustration and other behaviors that can get in the way of success at school. Only about a fifth of all Pediatricians screen their patients for sleep apnea and other other hidden sleep conditions. |
