ATLANTIC CITY--Casino dealers and slot technicians made an announcement Tuesday afternoon at the gaming congress.

Casino workers say they're going to hold a rally next month in an effort to get fair contracts. Workers at four casinos in the city voted to join a union, but no contract agreements have been reached, "Because of your union and because you're united and you are standing up for your rights and what is fair for the workers in Atlantic City we're going to get contracts here in Atlantic City," said Kevin Donovan, Assistant Director of Region 9 UAW.

Casino dealers began organizing with the UAW in November of 2006. Meanwhile, the rally will be held on June 21 in downtown Atlantic City.
