FOUR ADDITIONAL ARRESTS MADE IN CONNECTION WITH MURDER OF A.C. MAN
Josh Sims ( jsims@nbc40.net) - 2/22/12 05:37 pm
ATLANTIC CITY - Four additional arrests have been made in connection with the murder of an Atlantic City man last November.
Atlantic City residents Jason Hall, 22, James Clegg, 21, Carlos Woodall, 23, and Hakeem Ceasar, 23, were arrested Tuesday in connection with the murder of Corleone Hayes, 29, last November.
"Tuesday morning I determined there was sufficient evidence in the issue to request warrants for their arrests," said Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel.
Hayes was fatally shot multiple times in a residence on Baltic Avenue.
The four men are now charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and unlawful possession of a weapon.
"Evidence was seized and we need to analyze that evidence further to determine how many weapons were used," said Housel.
Last November, Haneef Graves, 29, of Atlantic City was also arrested in connection with the killing. He was charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, aggravated assault with a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon by a convicted person.
The four men arrested Tuesday are being held on $1-million bail.
