HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS SPEAK TO LOCAL STUDENTS
Jessica Klein ( jklein@nbc40.net) - 2/22/12 05:20 pm
MARGATE -- Local holocaust survivors spoke to Atlantic City High School students Wednesday at the Jewish Family Services building in Margate.
The survivors gather each month to share their stories and to promote knowledge of the holocaust.
Survivors say they want to pass their experiences along to younger generations to help keep their stories alive, long after they're gone.
"We have to continue speaking about the holocaust because we're all getting old, all of the holocaust survivors and very soon there will be no more holocaust survivors left," said Rosalie Simon, a survivor.
The luncheons began ten years ago and it's a tradition survivors hope will continue for a long time to come.
