THREE-CAR ACCIDENT KNOCKS OVER TRAFFIC LIGHT

ABSECON -- Two people were hospitalized after a three-car accident that knocked over a traffic signal pole in Absecon Wednesday morning.
It happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Absecon Boulevard in the area of the Comfort Inn.
Authorities say a Pontiac G6 was attempting to change lanes, when it struck another car. Both of those vehicles lost control and collided into a traffic pole, which then fell across the eastbound lane and struck a Ford Escape.
Two people suffered non-life threatening injuries.
A careless driving ticket was issued to the driver of the Pontiac.
