(Return to Video Menu - View Full)
OCEAN CITY -- The lockdown has been lifted at Ocean City High School.
Authorities searched the school and removed barricades just before 1 p.m. Wednesday, after they say nothing threatening was found in the facility.
The school was put on a level one lockdown at around 10:00 a.m., after police say a threatening letter was found in a bathroom. The letter did not specify who would be harmed or how. At first, students were not permitted to leave their classrooms, but they were later evacuated to the football field.
Details are still coming in at this time, be sure to stay with NBC 40 as more information becomes available to us.
