DEERFIELD TWP. -- One man is dead after a car accident in Cumberland County Tuesday night.

It happened around 7 p.m. on Stillman Avenue in Deerfield Township.

Police say that's where 19-year-old Steven DePalma, Jr., of Bridgeton, was traveling when his car struck a tree and he was thrown from the vehicle. DePalma was taken to Regional Medical Center in Vineland, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities say they do not suspect any criminal activity.
