CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE -- An interesting and bizarre discovery Monday in the attic of a home in Cape May Court House.

Little information is known at this time, but the owners of this home on new road near the Avalon Golf Club, say they found a massive dormant nest in their attic. Animal control officials told the owner they've never seen anything like it.

The owner says he was cleaning the home just before renters moved in when he made the discovery, which he says, completely shocked him.

"Put a new bulb in, pulled the switch, looked and kinda looked back when I saw the size of the nest," said Russ Buckingham, home owner.

Officials told the owner they believe the nest was made by birds, but they are continuing their investigation into the mystery.
