GLASS HANGING FROM CASINO POSES THREAT
(Return to Video Menu - View Full)
ATLANTIC CITY -- A large piece of glass hanging from the Trump Plaza posed a threat Monday for Atlantic City residents and tourists.
Firefighters say they were called to the Pacific Avenue side of the Trump Plaza at around 11:30 a.m., as a large, unstable piece of glass was hanging from the 26th floor.
Officials say the glass is 8x8, and firefighters had to work with security to protect the areas inside and outside of the casino. The hotel contacted contractors to remove the piece, but security told NBC 40 there is nothing they can do until Tuesday morning, when a crane will come to assist with the project.
