The accident happened around 6 o'clock Friday evening in the area of McClellan Avenue and Tilton Road. That's where police say a vehicle with 5 passengers was hit by a pick-up truck.
The passenger, an elderly woman in her 80's, was pronounced dead at the scene. The remaining 4 passengers were taken AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. The extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.
The driver of the pick-up truck was uninjured and refused to go to the hospital for evaluation.
