BLACK HISTORY MONTH CONTINUES AT STOCKTON WITH CEREMONIAL FLAG RAISING
Matt Lerario ( mlerario@nbc40.net) - 2/8/11 06:45 pm
POMONA -- The celebrations of Black History Month continued Tuesday at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
Students and faculty gathered outside for the ceremonial raising of the tri-colored pan-African flag.
The flag represents a symbol of the African race, and will continue to fly at the school for the remainder of the month.
The original date of the ceremony was supposed to be on the first of the month, however, was rescheduled due to last week's bad weather.
