ATLANTIC CITY--An Atlantic City elementary school is closed because of flu-like symptoms among students, and staff.

Our Lady Star of the Sea Regional School will be closed for the remainder of the week since more than half of the school's faculty and students were out sick with flu-like symptoms. All school activities are also suspended until the school reopens.

School officials say the closing will give everyone time to recuperate and will allow the school maintenance staff to disinfect the facilities. It will reopen on Monday, November 9.
